Okay, this first picture is before both wheels are up, but the light was just too cool, not to post it.
The 14 foot wooden wheel is off its track a bit here and leaning back quite a bit. I had to stabilize it temporarily at the top by tying off some ropes. Later I would use a couple of car jacks to get it back in place.

The light was beautiful for this picture. First wheel is in place, and the second… is in pieces in front.
Each wheel is 400 pounds and made up of 8 pieces. The 50 pound elements were harder to move around and assemble than I expected. At first I tried to set up some pulleys to help get them in place, but by the second wheel I just grunted and did it all by hand. It ends up it was a lot faster that way.

I had to remove the side door during the spin, or I wouldn’t be able to use this entrance while the front wheel is in place.
This is really amazing! What a craftsmanship. Keep it up 🙂
Thanks much. 🙂
