I now have all 4 standing supports attached to the walnut. There are a few cross braces to help with the stress on these elements during lifting.
…I forgot that I needed to sand down the outside of the walnut where the curved supports meet the walnut. Hehehehe. I had to get the 24 inch belt sander out. Luckily it was just a little bit of sanding in a few spots. That’s hard work in the afternoon sun.
I’ll add two more temporary supports to help the first legs with the lift and then we should be ready to “get it up!”
Now I just need 3 volunteers to help me navigate the lift and then… stage 2 of framing can start in earnest.
